2015 Blogging Schedule

Happy New Year, friends!

How was your New Year’s celebration? Mine was quiet (with lots of fireworks outside), low key with family and I was down with a stomach bug. Not fun being sick in the new year at all but I’m glad it’s over now.

Are you excited about 2015?

I know I am! So ready to welcome the new year with personal goals and plans for Scoops of Joy.

I am making room to write and committing myself to my blogging plans. So now I’d like to introduce you to 3 weekly posts you can  expect to see here.

Scoops of Joy Blogging Schedule

  1. Single Moms Monday

Single Moms Monday posts will be geared towards Single Moms out there. It will be tips, articles, advises or guests posts from another Single Moms who has successfully navigated through the trench of being a single mom and  rock their lives. If you are a single mom and would love to guest post here please feel free to contact me.

  1. Wellness Wednesday

Teaming up with Rina from CuteCoconut we bring you a linky party that we will host every Wednesday. The purpose is to provide a virtual support group for everyone who wishes to live a healthier lifestyle in 2015. We will provide the prompts and you get to choose one, blog about it, link up with us then connect with others. Do join us for our first link up in January 7, 2015!

  1. Bahasa Indonesia Friday

This is specifically geared towards my Indonesian readers. I realized I have been receiving quite a great traffic from posting something in my native language. So, I pick Friday to write and post in Indonesian.

Other than the above plans, I am leaving rooms to write more, to submit my writing to other websites  and to build some new connections with other bloggers.

    I love the feature ideas and that you are dedicating one day for your native readers. I have quite a few weekly posts I do too: Menu Plan Monday, top 10 Tuesday for books (sometimes), throwback thursday linkup, be our guest fridays to feature guest bloggers and my big Small Victories Sunday linkup on tge weekends that’s open all week.     Thank you so much:) Happy you enjoyed the content and my blog. I don’t really know what is the best thing to do when you want to reach the world:) But I do like to write in both language instead of having a translate button.

    Iya, aku juga plan seperti itu untuk tiap hari. Jiaaah sok2-an ya? Tapi ditambahi note, kalau sibuk boleh skip. Kayaknya bakal nyari2 excuse juga nih kedepannya 🙁

      Mak Lusi emang harus flexible sih sebenernya apalagi kita emak-emak gini ya supaya jangan jadi beban tapi coba jalanin dulu selama sebulan 😀

    I’m also planning to post 3x a week, M/W/F with an occasional Saturday post. I’m looking forward to Wellness Wednesday! My goal is to maintain consistent posting for at least 3 months before I add any additional days to the schedule. Good luck with your schedule!

      I find 3 posts a week to be more manageable for me as I’ve tried posting every day before in 2010s and it just gave me a blogging burnt out 🙂 So happy to hear you are excited about Wellness Wednesday, we are looking forward to have you joining us.     This sounds like a great writing schedule! I’m also setting a goal of publishing about 3 posts a week. I’ve finally narrowed down my niche, so it’s about time that I start writing posts in that field. Thanks so much for sharing this at the IBA!

    Sounds like a good plan! I have a lot of plans for my blog in 2015 and I know how to achieve them, it’s just a matter doing it! I’ve struggled with follow through and consistency in the last 2 years of blogging, but this year I’m just gonna get it done! All the best for 2015 🙂

      I was very committed to blogging in 2010 but then when I went back to work full time I just couldn’t juggle it all and my blogging suffered so now i’m trying to build that momentum again this time with real plans 😀 All the best to you too for 2015!

      Try a monthly schedule first mbak 🙂 Kalau langsung setahun kayaknya beban malah ya hihihihi saya juga nggak sanggup. Ini rencananya per bulan dulu nanti lihat bagaimana hasilnya.

      Thank you so much, Echo! 🙂 Yes, I’ve always blog in English so to practise writing in my language is fun and interesting at the same time. We have a completely different style than English.
