The 5 Things List – Old School Blogging

The Old School Blogging is back yo! And I couldn’t wait to jump in and have fun with the awesome Alison and Elaine.

So here goes, my 5 things:

Five Things I Have a Passion For:

  1. Writing, it’s all I’ve been doing lately. Writing like crazy just pouring it all out.
  2. My family. Rebuilding a relationship with my parents, especially my mother has been very highly on my list lately.
  3. Fitness and healthy living. Although my fitness journey has taken a backseat as of lately, it will always be one of my biggest passion.
  4. Photography. Sometimes neglected but it will always be something I am passionate about.
  5. Traveling. My God, I miss miss miss traveling!

Five Things I Would Like to do Before I Die:

  1. Have some books with my name written on the covers.
  2. Crossing things off of my bucket list
  3. Holding my grand baby(ies) I want to be the cool grandma
  4. Having a small place by the beach
  5. Travel, travel, travel more

Five Things I Say A Lot:

  1. Please? – reminding the boy.
  2. I love you and I miss you – for my boy. He was away for a week so I said this a lot more lately.
  3. Excuse you? I said this a lot to my friends.
  4. Maureen, how may I help you?” – answering the phone at work.
  5. Sayang (honey) – this one is for my man obviously

Five Books and/or Magazines I Have Read Lately:

  1. All About Tantrums from Karyn
  2. Eating Well Magazine August edition – digital edition still counts right?
  3. Oxygen Magazine July edition – again digital edition
  4. Change Your Brain Change Your Body by Daniel G. Amen – about to read this one.
  5. PUSH: 30 Days to Turbocharged Habits, a Bangin’ Body, and the Life You Deserve! By Chalene Johnson.

Five Favorite Movies:

Gone With The Wind

  1. Gone With The Wind!
  2. The Help
  3. Finding Nemo – I’ve seen this a million times maybe with the boy.
  4. Up – the most romantic movie ever well the first bits.
  5. Sex and the City – even when critiques are bashing the movies! I love them, go and hate me. Hah!

Five Places I Would Love To Travel To

  1. Ora Beach – well every beaches in Ambon, really how could you not wanting to see this?

  2. The Machu Picchu
  3. Europe
  4. Indonesia. Yes I live here and there are still so many beautiful places to see, to explore. I still have a long  travel bucket list just for my own country.

    Indonesia IS beautiful! My sister has made several trips there, mainly to Ubud, but she’s also been to Yogjakarta and a few other places, I forget :)

    Seriously, how wonderful would it be to live by the ocean?

    And there are a lot of places in the U.S., my own country , that I would still like to go, so I understand that! :)

    I totally get wanting to explore your own country more. I live in the US, and there’s seriously so much to do hear, I could live my entire life and never see it all. I would love to visit Indonesia, as well!

    I have not heard of Ora Beach – it looks amazing and peaceful and beautiful.
    I have traveled a bit, but would love to travel more one day. There is so much to learn from new places and people. :)
